Emergency restoration work after the Russian attack on November 17 is still ongoing, Ukrenergo said.
In Ukraine, Saturday blackout schedules will remain in effect, but the scope of restrictions will decrease. It was reported by Ukrainergo on Friday, November 22.
“Tomorrow, November 23, the application time and the scope of the restrictions are as follows: 8:00-22:00 – a turn of the shutdown,” the message said.
The company recalled that the reason for the temporary introduction of restrictions was damage to energy facilities during a massive Russian missile and drone attack on November 17.
While emergency restoration work is still ongoing, electrical engineers are doing their best to restore equipment damaged by the enemy to operation as quickly as possible.
As you know, consumers in each area that are not included in the list of critical infrastructure items are divided into 6 queues (groups). The application of the three-phase restriction means that half of the customers in each region are subject to hourly outage schedules. Four queues – limit to 70% of buyers in each area.
When oblenergos use one queue of closing schedules, it means 4 hours of restrictions per day, two queues – 8 hours of restrictions, three queues – 12 hours of restrictions, four queues – more in 12 hours of restrictions.
How to distribute this load during the day, what the length of the queue will be is the responsibility of the regional power companies.
We remind you that on November 22 in Ukraine, closing schedules are valid from 6:00 to 22:00 in all regions and in the amount of one/two turns.
It was also reported that this morning in Ukraine, due to bad weather, 325 settlements in nine regions were without electricity.
