The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is taking political and diplomatic measures because of Russia’s use of new weapons during the Dnieper attack. This was announced by the department’s spokesperson, Georgy Tikhy, on Thursday, November 21.
Ukraine is already informing international partners, using UN and NATO mechanisms and plans to use OSCE tools.
Tikhy emphasized that it is necessary to activate international response formats to draw the world’s attention to the threats.
He noted that Russia’s use of an intercontinental ballistic missile could be equated to the actions of North Korea, which regularly threatens its neighbors.
According to the spokesman, Ukraine calls on the international community to act immediately, without waiting for further conclusions, to provide systems capable of countering new threats to protect human life and strengthen the country’s air defense.
We remind you that this morning Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile and eight other missiles along the Dnieper. Most of the targets were shot. Local authorities later reported the damage.
President Vladimir Zelensky confirmed that Russia has used a new weapon – all its characteristics indicate that it is an intercontinental ballistic missile.
