The military is training about 10 different types of unmanned ground robotic systems.
In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the first school for training operators of unmanned ground robotic systems was created on the basis of one of the training centers. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Thursday, November 21.
The training of future specialists has already begun. Military personnel are trained in about 10 different types of unmanned ground robotic systems – logistics, special and engineering.
Work continues to expand the project and improve it in the direction of increasing the effectiveness of training and providing an adequate educational and training base.
“The training of BPNK operators takes place according to a clearly defined program with the reception of the corresponding military specialty. To ensure the appropriate and high-quality level of their training, special software was created and the samples of BPNK training is used,” said Vitaly Dobryansky, head of the Department of Innovation Activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian military is testing the Ironclad unmanned robot on the front line.
