The right to reprieve is given to civilians who have been captured, as well as to those who have died or are missing a half-relative.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a total of two draft postponement bills. According to the documents, the right to reprieve is given to civilians captured, as well as the right to release those who died or lost half-relatives during participation in the conflict. MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on Telegram on Wednesday, November 20.
“The Rada adopted bill No. 12104 to eliminate legal uncertainty regarding the grounds for granting deferment from conscription for military service during mobilization to close relatives who died or disappeared immediately – 304,” he wrote.
Also, according to the representative of the people, the Rada adopted bill No. 11531 in ensuring equal rights and opportunities for military personnel on an equal basis with men entitled to deferment from conscription for military service during mobilization in terms of the right to discharge from military service due to death or loss during combat participation of their minor brother or sister. 308 people’s representatives voted for the document.
We remind you that President Vladimir Zelensky considers the mobilization in Ukraine insufficient. At the same time, he considers it wrong to give an exact figure about how many people need to be mobilized.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers updated the criteria for reservation from mobilization and the criteria for enterprises receiving criticality.
