President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with Danish Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen, met with Ukrainian manufacturers of long-range drones and the fighters who use them. This was reported by the press service of the head of state on Tuesday, November 19.
The leaders were told about the technical characteristics of these weapons, as well as the features of their use.
During the inspection, long-range drones were shown, the purchase of which is carried out according to the Danish model: funds are provided for concluded contracts between state enterprises. Defense Acquisition Agency and manufacturers.
Zelensky noted that all Northern European countries have joined the model started by Ukraine and Denmark.
“More than a billion dollars have been invested by partners in our industries. Drones, missiles, artillery – the scale is amazing,” he added.
In this regard, Frederiksen noted that investment in the Ukrainian defense industry is absolutely necessary to counter Russia’s brutal aggression.
“It is important for me that our manufacturers can visit Ukraine, learn from your experience. ” stressed the prime minister.
Earlier it became known that Denmark will finance the Ukrainian defense industry for 130 million euros.
Denmark will also create a fund to finance arms production in Ukraine.
