An ammunition depot in the city of Karachev, Bryansk region, Russia was attacked allegedly by American ATACMS missiles.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly fired six Western-style ballistic missiles “at a facility in the Bryansk region.” The corresponding statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense was distributed on November 19 by the Russian propaganda publication RIA Novosti.
The occupiers claim that crews of the S-400 and Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems allegedly shot down five ATACMS missiles and damaged one.
According to enemy propaganda, “fragments of missiles fell on the technical territory of a military facility.” They also claim that “the fire was extinguished.” Traditionally, the Russians said nothing about the victims.
It seems that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country also responded to the attack with American weapons on Russian territory. The head of the department, Sergei Lavrov, said that this is a signal that the West wants escalation. However, Moscow “cannot confirm that the United States has decided to strike deep into Russia.”
Let us remind you that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that on November 19, the Defense Forces attacked an ammunition train in Karachev, Bryansk region of Russia. 12 secondary explosions and detonation were recorded in the target area.
Some Ukrainian media reported that ATACMS ballistic missiles struck Russia for the first time that night.
