Two Ukrainian tanks burst into the Russian-occupied village of Novoalekseevka and destroyed several positions of the invaders with direct fire.
A fragment of the combat work of the Ukrainian defenders was captured in a video published by the “Sharp Kartuzy” unit of the National Guard of Ukraine on Telegram.
After the defeat of houses with occupiers, the first tank released a smoke curtain and began to leave.
The Russians, using an FPV drone, tried to attack the second Ukrainian tank, which was on cover.
After several unsuccessful attempts, the enemy FPV hovered in the distance, waiting for the Ukrainian tank to come towards it and the drone to hit it.
But as the military said, the Ukrainian tank, after another round of bullets, made a deceptive maneuver and released a smoke curtain.
Hiding behind electronic warfare (EW), both Ukrainian tanks left their position, and the Russian FPV operator was unable to complete the task.
OSINT researchers from the WarArchive telegram channel found out that this happened in Novoalekseevka in the Donetsk region.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on November 18, in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Mirolyubovka, Lucha, Lisovka, Petrovka, Pustynka and Novoalekseevka, where the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to oust units of the Defense Forces from the occupied rubles.
