Russia increased the pace of offensive operations, including in the Kursk region, east of the Oskol River, near Toretsk, Pokrovsk and Ugledar.
The average daily losses of Russian troops in the war in Ukraine reached a new high in October. Over the past month, the Russians have lost approximately 42 thousand personnel in battles. This was reported by the press service of the British Ministry of Defense on Monday, November 18.
In October, Russia experienced the highest monthly losses of the entire war period – 41,980 people. This number far exceeds the previous record of 39,110 recorded in May 2024.
Also in the first 12 days of November, Russian troop losses remained high, with a daily average of 1,498. This indicates that the increasing trend in Russian troop losses is likely to continue.
According to estimates, since the beginning of the war, Russia has allegedly lost more than 700 thousand people.
British intelligence also emphasized that Russia has increased the pace of offensive operations, especially: in the Kursk region, east of the Oskol River, near Toretsk, Pokrovsk and Ugledar.
It is expected that these offensive actions will continue and it is very likely that Russia will suffer even greater losses during the winter.
In turn, the General Staff reported that the Ukrainian military destroyed 1,560 Russian invaders in one day. The total battle losses of the Russian Federation were about 722,440 people.
It was previously reported that soldiers of the Shkval special battalion and pilots of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter March liquidated the elite Russian units in the battles around Toretsk.
