In Odessa, a Russian missile strike carried out today, November 18, according to information as of 14.30, killed ten people.
This was reported by the press service of the Odessa region police.
Among the dead:
- seven police officers – investigators and a police escort worker;
- medic;
- two local residents.
Another 39 people were injured of varying degrees of severity. Among them are four children and 14 law enforcement officers.
The Russians struck a residential area of Odessa in the middle of the day, first with an Iskander ballistic missile. The impact damaged a dormitory, a high-rise building, an administrative building and cars, the police said.
Elimination of the consequences of enemy shelling continues. Investigative teams, explosives experts, rescuers and police psychologists are working at the scene of the incident.
