The injured and still alive 40-year-old man was accidentally found by passers-by and called an ambulance, but a few days later the victim died at the hospital without regaining consciousness.
An indictment was sent to court against a 57-year-old foreigner on charges of intentionally killing a janitor. The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office reported this on November 18.
It was noted that in July 2024, an employee of a utility company in the Pechersky district was returning home after work and accidentally crossed paths with an aggressive stranger on Bogomolets Street. As a result of a verbal conflict, a passer-by unexpectedly struck the temple janitor with a knife. A seriously wounded, still alive, 40-year-old man was accidentally found by passers-by and called an ambulance, but the victim died a few days later at the hospital without regaining consciousness.
The day after the crime, the suspect was detained – a 57-year-old citizen of a foreign country, who in 2010 was already sentenced to 7 years in prison for causing grievous bodily harm to a resident of the Pechersky district. . However, after 4 years of his sentence, he was dismissed under amnesty.
After serving his sentence, the man returned to Kyiv and lived for almost 10 years on the landing of a residential building in Pechersk. Due to the expired documents, the foreigner was subject to deportation from Ukraine, however, due to the vagabond lifestyle, these instructions were not fulfilled.
During his arrest on suspicion of murdering a janitor, blood-stained clothes were seized from him, but the detainee insisted it was spilled tea.
We remind you that in the city of Brovary there was a murder in a hotel. A resident of the Lviv region received bullet wounds to the head, chest and abdomen. He died on the spot.
It was also reported that in a forest belt in the Baltic community of the Odessa region, a mushroom picker found the headless and charred body of a woman. A pre-trial investigation into the planned killing was launched.
