The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a large concentration of Russian infantry in the Zaporozhye region with a missile strike.
On the night of November 17, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance discovered a concentration of enemy infantry near the village of Tavria between the cities of Tokmak and Vasilyevka, which is 18 km from the line of combat. Several Ural trucks brought more than 50 infantrymen and dropped them off at a landing near the highway. The 128th separate mountain assault Transcarpathian brigade reported this on Facebook.
Intelligence established that these were soldiers from one of the newly arrived combat units of the Russian army. The invaders were going to transfer from the trucks to the so-called “Loaves” and get to the combat positions.
The aerial reconnaissance officers of the 128th OGShBr immediately contacted the artillerymen of the 15th separate artillery reconnaissance brigade “Black Forest” and provided them with coordinates.
In the footage published by the military, you can see about 50 bodies lying motionless on the ground a few seconds after the missile strike. After the wounded occupiers began to be evacuated, cluster munitions flew at the enemies.
It is preliminary known that about 30 Russians died.
Let us recall that the M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system destroyed the command post and residence of the Russian army in the village of Novogorovka in Zaporozhye, which is located 20 km from the combat line.
