Three controversial Michael Jackson songs have been removed from streaming platforms

Three Michael Jackson songs at the center of a long-running dispute over the singer’s true identity have been removed from the streaming platform, Sony and the late singer’s heirs said on Wednesday (July 6).

shocking news, A monster and: Keep your head up appeared on the compilation “Michael”, which was released in 2010, a year and a half after the American superstar suffered a cardiac arrest. Some fans claim that the vocals on these tracks actually belong to American singer Jason Malachi, which Sony denies.

The record company and rights holders explained that they decided to recall these songs because they were “Easiest and best way to end discussions about this song forever”. This decision has nothing to do with the authenticity of these titles, they assured in a joint press release. The other seven titles in the collection remain available.

“Michael” it was presented as an album of unreleased songs that the pop icon worked on in 2007. But some of his die-hard fans and even family members expressed their doubts, forcing Sony to defend the authenticity of the audio. According to TMZ, Jason Malachi admitted the facts in a Facebook post in 2011, and his manager later claimed the post was fake.
