Former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny has headed Ukraine’s diplomatic mission in the UK since July 10.
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky awarded the Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK and former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny with the Medal for Merit in Diplomacy. Lipovsky wrote this on the social network X on Friday, November 15.
“His courage and personal example were decisive in repelling the Russian aggression, which is an attack on all free and democratic countries. Therefore I awarded him the medal “For Diplomatic Merit,” Lipavsky wrote.
The Medal for Merit in Diplomacy is awarded by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs for contributions to Czech diplomacy, foreign policy or exceptional merits in the development of bilateral relations.
The head of the Czech Foreign Ministry met with Zaluzhny as part of his visit to London.
The former head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was given a personalized T-shirt by the Donetsk club Shakhtar
Earlier, Zaluzhniv said that Kyiv is talking with London on the annual training of at least 5-7 thousand students who in the future will work as officials in Ukraine.
