The Ground Forces Command on its Facebook page commented on the shooting incident in the village of Schastlivoe in the Kyiv region.

    .

The Ground Forces claim that a Municipal Guard employee was involved in the incident.

It is noted that the shooting occurred during the implementation of warning measures, for the implementation of which a warning group was created, which included military personnel of the RTCC and SP, employees of the National Police and the “Municipal Guard” of the community. This group checked the documents of drivers and passengers of cars moving on the roads of the community.

During one of these checks, it turned out that the driver of the car was wanted for violating military registration rules. And the passenger of the same car ran out of it, hit a municipal guard and began to run away, the report says.

The employee of the Municipal Guard who struck him ran after the man and fired a traumatic weapon. There were no casualties, the man fled in an unknown direction. Now all currently known facts are being verified, the Ground Forces added.
