Since the beginning of the year, state budget revenues from de-shadowing in equivalent dollars have reached $1.67 billion. This was announced by the head of the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danilo Getmantsev.
“This is comparable to the budget aid from Canada, which is Ukraine’s fifth partner in terms of the volume of transferred financial resources,” he said.
According to him, revenues from shadowing taxes administered by the State Tax Service amount to 6.1% of international aid given this year.
Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky announced a decision to support business. Ministers will look for alternative solutions without putting pressure on white businesses. Additional measures by the government are also expected to remove the shadow business.
