In France, the preparation of the Ukrainian brigade Anna Kyiv was completed. This was announced yesterday by the head of the Ministry of Defense, Sebastian Lecornu on the social network X.
“In the Grand Est, the preparation of the Anna Kyiv brigade is about to be completed. The President of the Republic (Emmanuel Macron – ed.) is committed to it: our army is training and training the Ukrainian brigade,” he wrote.
Lecornu said he visited the training center on Thursday with Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrault.
Lecornu noted that the exercises are taking place in real tactical conditions, with French equipment, which will be transferred directly to Ukraine for use in the field.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron released training footage of the Anna Kyiv brigade, which is currently undergoing training in France.
In this regard, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced when the Anna Kyiv brigade will be in Ukraine.
It was also reported that by the end of 2024, Germany will equip a brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
