Acting US Special Representative for Economic Recovery of Ukraine Richard Verma arrived in Kyiv.
US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Verma, acting US Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery, arrived in Kyiv. This was announced by the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink on the social network X on Friday, November 15.
“Ukraine’s economic recovery opens the door for American businesses to invest in Ukraine’s future and partnerships in defense, technology and other sectors that will benefit our countries,” he wrote.
The last time Richard Verma visited Ukraine was in early September.
As you know, from September 2024, instead of Penny Pritzker, Richard Verma became the US Special Representative for the Economic Recovery of Ukraine.
We remind you that Ukraine previously received a grant from the United States in the amount of $1.35 billion. These funds will be used for priority humanitarian and social programs.
