The Russian army launched a massive drone attack on Odessa on Thursday evening, November 14.
There is a hit in a residential building. In total, residential buildings, cars, a church, and an educational institution were damaged. Fires broke out at six different addresses, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. The State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram.
So far, one woman has been killed and 10 injured. According to the head of the Odessa Police Department Oleg Kiper, among the victims is a 9-year-old boy. He is in hospital in moderate condition. A 22-year-old guy is in serious condition.
Kiper also informed that the main central heating pipeline was damaged as a result of the shelling. The boiler room is temporarily shut down and repair work is being carried out. The damaged branch of the heating network heated 220 apartment buildings, seven kindergartens and four schools. It also supplied heat to one of the Odessa maternity hospitals, but it will be able to heat itself autonomously, using its own resources.
