Kyiv’s Shevchenkovsky District Court extended until December 5 the preventive measure for MP Nestor Shufrych, accused of treason. Suspilne reported it.
Shufrich’s lawyers petitioned to change the preventive measure and said the suspicion against Shufrich was unjustified.
“He was in a pre-trial detention center for 14 months, without conviction to comply with your decisions,” said the lawyer.

Let’s recall that in September 2023, based on materials from the SBU, Shufrich was charged with treason.
At the beginning of February 2024, Shufrich received another suspicion – for funding the National Guard in Crimea. The court chose a measure of restraint for him in the form of detention. According to the investigation, Shufrich worked closely with and carried out the work of former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Vladimir Sivkovich, an agent of the Russian FSB, whose task was to coordinate Russian agents in Ukraine.
