Doubts about Jacek Sutryk’s MBA arose during the campaign for the last local government election.
On November 14, Poland’s Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) detained the mayor of Wroclaw, Jacek Sutryk, in connection with a major case involving the purchase of diplomas. This was reported by RMF FM.
“This morning, in the case of suspicions of crimes and violations of the Collegium Humanum, the agents of the CBA, by order of the prosecutor, detained the mayor of Wroclaw After the completion of the proceedings, he was taken to the local department of the National Prosecutor’s Office in Katowice,” said Jacek Dobrzynski, a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.
According to Przemyslaw Nowak, spokesman for the National Prosecutor’s Office, the mayor of Wroclaw will be charged as part of the investigation into abuses at the former Collegium Humanum university.

It is noted that doubts about Jacek Sutryk’s MBA diploma arose during the campaign in the last local government election. Sutrik explained the receipt of this diploma, which published evidence of payment for training in 2020, but a little more than a month passed between this payment and the issuance of the document.
The Collegium Humanum case concerns irregularities at a non-public university. Currently, 28 people are in custody in this case and face a total of 150 charges, recalled the spokesperson of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.
