The Russian invaders today, November 13, starting at 14.30, attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the Kupyansk direction.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that enemy assault groups attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in four waves:
- In total, the enemy deployed about 15 pieces of equipment. In particular, tanks, armored fighting vehicles and the UR-77 mine clearing installation;
- Some of the Russian soldiers were dressed in uniforms of the Ukrainian Armed Forces – this violates the laws and rules of warfare and is a war crime.
With skillful and decisive actions, our defenders stopped the enemy, destroyed all of his armored vehicles and eliminated a significant part of his manpower, the General Staff notes. “It should be noted the professionalism and coherence of our infantrymen, tank crews, artillerymen and UAV operators.
