Zelensky said that his team is now working to further increase supplies from partners – both in missiles and defense systems.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he heard a report from Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky about the situation in the Donetsk region. The head of state announced this in an evening video message on November 13.
“Report of Commander-in-Chief Syrsky: the front, and more attention to Donbass Also, to the attempts of the occupier to expand offensive actions, especially the direction of Kupyansk,” he said.
Zelensky mentioned the combat brigades that have recently shown themselves to be brave and effective: the 24th separate mechanized brigade, the 44th separate artillery brigade, the 60th and 65th separate mechanized brigade, the 68th separate jäger brigade, the 104th, 102nd, and the Troops Brigade 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade.
The President also expressed gratitude to the air defense soldiers who protect the skies.
Zelensky added that Ukraine is grateful to all partners who help with missile defense and air defense systems.
He said that his team is working now to further increase supplies from partners – both for missiles, and for defense systems, and for everything necessary to strengthen our mobile fire group.
“The strategic goal is to achieve such a practical level of cooperation with partners so that here in Ukraine we can produce the air defense and missile defense systems we need,” the president emphasized.
We remind you that Zelensky said that he spoke on the phone with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who confirmed that the sixth of the planned IRIS-T air defense system will arrive in Ukraine before the end of this year.
