During its meeting today, November 13, the Third Disciplinary Chamber of the High Council of Justice decided to submit a proposal for the dismissal of the head of the Kyiv District Administrative Court Pavel Vovk.
The Anti-Corruption Center reported this in its Telegram channel.
During the meeting, technical problems arose due to a break. After the break, the consideration of the case continued:
- OASC Judge Fedorchuk took part in the meeting and testified against Judge Vovk. He also recognized the voices of the OASC judges who appeared on the tapes;
- according to the rapporteur on the case, member of the VRP Oleg Kandzyuba, the behavior of Judge Vovk discredits the title of judge and undermines confidence in the judiciary;
- The Disciplinary Chamber of the GRP, consisting of Kandzyuba (rapporteur), Plakhtiy, Lukyanov, Kotelevets and Sasevich, decided to unanimously submit a proposal for the dismissal of Vovk.
Now the corresponding decision still needs to be approved by the full PSA.
The press service of the GRP notes that Volk will remain suspended from the administration of justice until the GRP makes a decision to dismiss him from office or cancel the decision of the Disciplinary Chamber.
Associates of Judge Vovk are trying to order the judge for allowing wiretapping in the OASC case
