The armed forces of the Russian Federation may soon begin ground assaults in the south of the Zaporozhye region.
The enemy army’s offensive could begin in a few days. Attacks by the occupiers could create a new pressure point for the Ukrainian military, which is already lagging behind in the east. However, it is still unclear whether these will be individual assaults or a large-scale offensive. Press Secretary of the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshin stated this in a commentary to Sky News.
The assaults could begin soon, we are not even talking about weeks, we expect this to happen any day,” he said.
The speaker also added that the hostile group in this direction significantly outnumbers the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Let us recall that the Seversk operational-tactical group stated that the size of the Russian army group in the Kursk region is approximately 45-50 thousand military personnel. The enemy pulled units of different types and different configurations into the combat zone. In some sectors of the front, the enemy storms Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in small groups every 10-15 minutes.
