The enemy can use this drone not only at the front, but also to train operators.
Russia plans mass production of drones Piranha-5to close the gap in drone supply to training centers. This was reported by the Ukrainian specialized Defense Experess.
Russian propagandists have previously claimed that the design bureau Piranha create a “combat training” FPV drone Piranha-5which the enemy can use not only at the front, but also when training operators. Now it seems that the mass production of such drones has started.
The journalists noted that the concept of the drone is quite clear: a small drone will help fill the gaps in the supply of drones in the training centers.
The Russians say the drone Piranha-5 equipped with everything needed to speed up the processes and facilitate the transition to other platforms during the study.
Drone features include:
-
diameter – 12 centimeters;
-
maximum speed – up to 220 km / h;
-
weight – 300 grams.
Russian propagandists say the drone is allegedly capable of carrying a payload of up to 1 kilogram and has enough batteries on board to be used in attacks within a radius of 1-3 kilometers.
“In fact, it is a kind of “pocket drone”, like a cheap analogue of the American Black Hornet nano-drones, but low-tech and many times larger,” explains Defense Express.
We remind you that Ukraine does not have enough weapons to fully build new brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
