The Russian military trains foreign mercenaries at the Kazachiy training ground in Sevastopol’s Gagarinsky district.
Russia is training mercenaries from Africa and Cuba in Crimea for the war in Ukraine. The occupiers protected them from attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces by children from the Youth Army. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Atesh partisan movement.
“During ongoing reconnaissance, Atesh agents learned that at the Kazachiy training ground in the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol, the Russian military is training mercenaries from African countries and Cuba,” the report said.
The partisans note that “the arrival of military trucks is periodically recorded, bringing to the training area people who look atypical for local residents.”
At the same training ground, shootings for youths from the Youth Army take place from time to time.
“The Russians use children as human shields, trying to protect their military and mercenaries from the attacks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces,” the partisans added.
Earlier, partisans reported that in the Donetsk region, Russian occupiers began moving weapons and ammunition using civilian trucks.
