Based on materials from the SBU and the National Police, a tiktoker who on October 7 this year filmed a provocative stream on the territory of a railway station in Kyiv was suspected of justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
In her video, filmed during an air raid, the defendant stated that by shelling peaceful Ukrainian cities, “the Russians are fighting back against the Ukrainians.” In addition, she mocked the citizens of our state who go down to the shelter.
Employees of the SBU and the National Police exposed her in hot pursuit immediately after the publication of the video.
Now, after conducting independent examinations that confirmed the elements of the crime in the defendant’s statements, SBU investigators informed her of suspicion under the CC. 2, 3 tbsp. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants, committed repeatedly).
According to the case materials, this provocative video was published by a 23-year-old resident of Makeyevka, Donetsk region, who moved to Kyiv several months ago.
She used her Tik Tok account to glorify the occupiers, including militants from the Russian private military company Wagner.
The attacker also publicly denied the war crimes of the Nazis during the temporary occupation of the Kyiv region. The video of the defendant was immediately picked up by Russian propagandists for further dispersal through the Kremlin media.
During the searches, the detainee’s mobile phone was confiscated red-handed for her subversive activities in favor of Russia. The attacker faces up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
