Canada approved Sweden and Finland to join NATO

Trudeau noted that Ottawa strongly supports the accession of Scandinavian countries to the Alliance.

Canada was the first NATO member country to ratify Sweden and Finland’s entry into the Alliance. This is what Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.
