Since the beginning of this year, the enemy has launched approximately 7,000 attack drones across Ukraine.
In October, the aggressor country Russia used 2,023 Shahed-type attack drones and drones of unknown type against Ukraine. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Friday, November 1.
“Of these, 1,185 were destroyed / intercepted by Ukrainian defenders, 738 units were lost in location, and another 29 UAVs left the controlled airspace of our state,” the message said.
In total, since the beginning of 2024, the enemy has launched 6,987 attack UAVs across Ukraine. Enemy drones primarily targeted civilian and critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
It should be noted that the number of suicide bombers used by the Russians in one month became a new record and the second in a row. In September, Russia launched more than 1,300 attack drones in Ukraine.
We remind you that on the night of November 1, the enemy deployed 48 attack UAVs. Almost all of them were shot down or disappeared locally, of course, due to the action of electronic warfare. Three more drones flew to Belarus.
