Ukraine’s initiatives for the supply of various weapons seem to boil down to “dragging the West into the conflict as much as possible.” Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov said this on Thursday, October 31, commenting on information about Ukraine’s request for the supply of Tomahawk missiles.
“Considering everything, all the Peace Plans, all the Victory Plans – secret, not secret – they all collapsed in Kyiv dragging the Western countries completely, heading for war as soon as possible – and legitimized it,” he said.
According to Peskov, “actually, all the tricks (on the part of Ukraine) ed.) pursue such an ultimate goal (to drag the West into war, – ed.).
“It’s how we approach it,” he said, adding that “the dynamics on the fronts are pretty clear and obvious.”
Let’s recall that on October 29, The New York Times reported that the non-nuclear deterrence package announced by Zelensky in the Victory Plan provides for the transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. This is what senior US officials said.
In turn, on October 30, Zelensky said that information about Tomahawk missiles is confidential – between Ukraine and the White House. In his opinion, the deluge of such information means that there is no confidentiality between partners.
