Tauride paratroopers repulsed a massive attack by the invaders in the Kurakhovsky direction
The enemy threw 13 armored vehicles with infantry, four tanks, a Terminator tank support combat vehicle and four motorcycles into the assault. Thus, the Russians tried to break through the defenses of the 79th separate air assault brigade. The Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook on October 28.
It is noted that the occupiers found themselves in a real death carousel – they began to shoot enemies as if in a shooting gallery. The invaders were hit with artillery, attack drones and anti-tank missile systems. The enemy also exploded on mines.
During the battle, 79 fighters destroyed 12 pieces of equipment: nine armored vehicles, two tanks, the Terminator BMPT and four motorcycles. Two more armored vehicles were damaged. 25 occupiers became “Cargo 200”, and 23 were injured.
Let us remind you that Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and Abrams tanks are taking part in the Ukrainian military operation in the Kursk region. In particular, they mowed down the enemy landing, destroying the occupiers’ shelter with the help of a TOW anti-tank missile and provided powerful fire support for our infantry.
