Each will be paid one thousand hryvnias. Funds can be spent on paying for Ukrainian goods and services.
In Ukraine, from December 1, a new program to support Ukrainians will be introduced – one thousand hryvnias for each citizen. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in his evening speech on October 25.
According to the head of state, a decision is being considered that can be made directly to support the people.
“I ordered the government to introduce a new program from December 1, which will be available for every family in Ukraine. There is support for all our people – adults, children, every family in Ukraine,” said Zelensky.
The President said that each person will be paid one thousand hryvnias, which will amount to several thousand hryvnias per family. Funds can be spent on paying for utilities, electricity, tickets to Ukrzaliznytsia and Ukrainian medicines, on Ukrainian books and cultural services. They can also be issued to military personnel, volunteers, and drones.
“The Cabinet of Ministers should determine all the details and show them all to the people that I hope the people should have money on December 1,” Zelensky stressed.
We remind you that in Ukraine more than 1.2 million internally displaced people receive assistance from the state.
The Rada also reportedly supported a bill that would allow the military to independently determine the recipients of payments.
