The Pentagon named another reason for prohibiting Ukraine from firing ATACMS missiles at Russia.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, after a visit to Kyiv, said in a conversation with American media that Russia has already moved the aircraft it uses to launch the KAB beyond the ATACMS range of 300 km from the Ukrainian border:

However, Lloyd Austin believes that Ukraine can continue to strike at long range:

Ukraine has many opportunities… They will do it.

Regarding Ukrainian-made drones, Austin noted:

They are very effective. In fact, we have seen them carry out attacks or operations at a distance of about 400 km from the border and even further.
