The Ukrainian robot “Targan” will be used by military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized the use of the Targan unmanned ground robotic complex, developed by domestic engineers, in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This robot can transport ammunition, food or equipment for fighters. The press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported this on October 23.
“Targan” is equipped with a silent electric motor and large rubber wheels. And the features of its design allow the drone to move across the battlefield unnoticed over a considerable distance.
In addition, the robot is small in size, which allows it to be transported in a minibus or on a car trailer. And the Targan itself can carry up to 200 kg of cargo.
Let us remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively use robots to conduct battles against invaders from Russia. In particular, in September, near Novogrodovka, servicemen of the 25th separate airborne brigade, using the RatelS robotic platform, destroyed an underground passage containing enemy personnel.
