Law enforcement officers found a person who committed desecration of the graves of military personnel at the Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv
In total, the 48-year-old woman damaged gravestone lamps and vases of flowers at about 40 graves. Law enforcement officials do not say why she did this.
Now investigative actions are ongoing, and the issue of ordering a number of examinations is also being decided.
For desecrating burial sites, a woman faces up to five years of restriction or imprisonment.
On the night of October 20, at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv, vandals destroyed the graves of fallen Ukrainian military personnel – heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war, as well as three graves of political prisoners and two graves of volunteers.
