A man was found dead in one of the shopping centers in the Poltava region.
In the Poltava region, the body of a man was found in one of the technical rooms of the preliminary collection point for military personnel. The regional military registration and enlistment office says he probably committed suicide. This is stated in a statement by the Poltava Regional Territorial Telegram Acquisition Center.
The military claims that they took the man to a preliminary collection point because he was wanted. The citizen refused to undergo the VLK, so a refusal certificate was drawn up regarding this matter.
Therefore, an appeal to the police was being prepared regarding evasion of conscription for military service – Art. 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It turned out that the man had already been tried under this article. At one time, he received three years in prison, but he was released from punishment and given one year of probation.
The TCC assures that “no physical or psychological pressure was exerted on the person liable for military service.” The husband was waiting for the assembly point until all the documents were completed.
Law enforcement officers have already opened criminal proceedings. An internal investigation is also being conducted.
Let us remind you that in September in the Transcarpathian region, a woman stated that her father was illegally detained by TCC and SP officers. She is sure that the man was beaten and this led to his death. Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets emphasized that this case requires an immediate, comprehensive and impartial investigation.
