If the information that the Russian offensive forces have North Korean ammunition with North Korean military personnel is confirmed, then Europe will have to switch to “ground actions” and other measures from Macron.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said it was time to reconsider the idea of deploying EU troops to support Kyiv. Politico reported this the previous day, October 21.

“If the information that the Russian offensive detachments are equipped with North Korean ammunition and include North Korean military personnel, it is necessary to proceed with what Macaron proposed – “progressive actions on the ground” and so on, and others, so on,” he noted minister

French President Emmanuel Macron presented his proposal in February. However, it did not find approval from German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who said that the time had not yet come to deploy European or NATO troops to Ukraine.

“Unfortunately, we are once again slow, our actions are passive, but I believe in our common ability to take any proactive steps for the necessary implementation of the ideas proposed by President Macron,” said Landsbergis.

Earlier, a South Korean satellite recorded the movement of North Korean troops on Russian territory: there were 1,500 special forces soldiers in Vladivostok.

Moscow does not deny information about the transfer of military personnel from North Korea to Russia for the subsequent war in Ukraine, but calls it “contradictory.”
