In Russia, pupils of kindergarten No. 38 “Rainbow” in the village of Rassvet, Rostov region, were given a model of Bakhmut, destroyed by the Nazis.
This was reported by the regional branch of Yunarmia (Russian youth military organization created by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2016).
The event took place on October 19, when the children visited one of the military units of the Southern Military District of Russia.
During the Youth Army meeting, senior sergeant Roman K. presented a diorama “Liberation of the city of Bakhmut”, which he made with his own hands, to a detachment of little patriots named after the holder of the Order of Courage Evgeniy Bekhter, the message says.
The diorama depicts residential buildings destroyed during the Russian advance on the city, as well as military vehicles with the letter “Z” and armed men.
The Yunarmiya stated that this diorama “will take pride of place in the museum corner of the Rainbow kindergarten.”
