The Russian Black Sea Fleet has decided to leave occupied Crimea.
The enemy fleet “changed its registration” due to Ukrainian surface drones. Large Russian ships have become common targets for Ukrainian naval drones. This was stated by Russian Senator Dmitry Rogozin, Meduza reports.
The Black Sea Fleet was forced to essentially change its registration, because our large ships simply became big targets for unmanned enemy boats,” he emphasized.
Let us remind you that the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that in the Azov-Black Sea region there was only one location left for the presence of Russian ships – the Novorossiysk seaport. Enemy ships rarely leave this base and only for short-term operations.
British intelligence said Russia was trying to protect its Black Sea Fleet in Novorossiysk from Ukrainian attacks, where it had relocated its most valuable ships and submarines. The Russians placed four barges at the entrance to the Novorossiysk port.
