Joe Biden made a statement about Ukraine’s use of long-range Western weapons.
There is currently no consensus on allowing Ukraine to fire Western missiles at Russia. The American leader said this at the end of his visit to Berlin. He also called on partners to continue to support Ukraine. Bloomberg reported this.
We cannot retreat, we must continue our support. In my opinion, we must continue until Ukraine receives a just and lasting peace in accordance with the UN Charter, until human dignity wins again,” the American leader noted.
Bloomberg writes that NATO sources believe that towards the end of his tenure, Biden could make “bolder steps towards Ukraine,” regardless of who wins the election.
Let us recall that on October 18, US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer met in Berlin.
They discussed Ukraine’s victory plan and “reaffirmed their determination to continue to support Ukraine in its efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace based on international law, including the UN Charter, and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
