On October 16, in Cherkassy, an employee of one of the regional prosecutor’s offices was detained, suspected of sexual harassment and corruption of a child. It was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The defendant is suspected of committing sexual acts by close relatives or family members on a person under the age of 16, committing obscene acts against a person under the age of 16, and repeatedly harassing to a child for sexual purposes.
A pre-trial investigation into this fact was launched on October 7, the conduct of which was entrusted to the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation.
The issue of informing the person involved in the suspicion and applying to the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention is resolved.
