Despite the firefighters ’promptness, the fire quickly spread throughout the building. The fire caused extensive damage.

A fire broke out on the property of composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov in the Pskov region, Russia. This was announced on Saturday, July 2, by the head of the region Mikhail Vedernikov in the Telegram.

According to him, the fire broke out due to the negligence of the builders to block the roof of the estate using open fire.

The fire quickly spread throughout the building and caused extensive damage.

Vedernikov recalled that NA Rimsky-Korsakov was an object of cultural heritage of federal importance.

Later, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire had been localized, and nearly half of the exhibits had been rescued. A silver goblet, a gold pen, some furniture, books, magazines and shelves were taken out of the fire.

It is known that the composer Rimsky-Korsakov used this property as a dacha, and later bought it for his children. In 1907, he wrote the famous opera The Golden Cockerel here.

It was previously reported that a strong fire broke out on the Kashirskoye Highway in Moscow. First, the garbage was burned, and then the fire spread to the hangar with wheels.

In early June, there was a strong fire in the building of the Grand Setun Plaza business center in Moscow. The fire consumed four floors of the building, 41 pieces of equipment and a helicopter were dispatched to the scene.

Recall that under the temporary occupation of Popasna in the Luhansk region, a warehouse with ammunition of Russian troops was destroyed.
