Belarus does not intend to fight Ukraine, because it does not need this war. This was announced by the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA informs.
“They are still trying to drag us into the war in Ukraine. The goal is the same-to confront both Russia and Belarus in an instant. They are worried, they say from Ukraine that they do not want to be attacked by Belarusian troops. Ukraine through the northern border. Yes don’t listen to them! They will be happy (I know this for sure) if we go in there, “he said.
According to him, the Ukrainian side is interested in portraying Russia and Belarus as fascists.
“I will repeat to you again what I said a year or so ago: we do not intend to fight in Ukraine,” Lukashenka said.
He noted that now, as a result of the war in Ukraine, innocent people are dying, many are becoming crippled.
“We really don’t need this war,” Lukashenka added.
It will be recalled that Lukashenka had previously called on the Russian Federation to be prepared to use nuclear weapons.
Alexander Lukashenko also said that Western countries could send troops into Ukraine’s territory and invade Belarus from there.
