In particular, we are talking about pipelines in the North and Baltic Seas. The corresponding order came from Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Feser, reports the German magazine Spiegel.
GSG 9 is the future station of a maritime task force permanently in Neustadt in Schleswig-Holstein. From here, forces specialized in counter-terrorism operations can respond more quickly to crisis situations.
