Power outages in eight regions – Ministry of Energy

On Saturday morning, new blackouts were recorded in eight regions due to Russian attacks, bad weather and technical violations. The Ministry of Energy announced this on Saturday, October 12.

So, due to shelling and fighting, there were new power outages in Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Sumy and Kharkov regions.

At the same time, due to bad weather, there was a blackout in 25 settlements in the Kirovograd region, eight settlements in the Chernihiv region and six settlements in the Odessa region.

511 settlements remain partially or completely cut off due to fighting and technical violations.

At the same time, in the last 24 hours, power engineers restored electricity to 7,809 consumers who lost power as a result of clashes and technological violations.

Let us remind you that now there are no plans to turn off the power in Ukraine. But last week, some regions underwent a blackout for two days in a row due to Russian attacks.
