Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, during a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin today, October 11, expressed hope that Western allies will help end the Russian-Ukrainian war no later than 2025.
Deutsche Welle reports this.
It is noted that Zelensky thanked Germany for the assistance provided, emphasized the importance of continuing support for Ukraine next year, and also stated that Ukraine has a strategy for bringing peace closer, which it presents to its partners.
Today I will present to Scholz a plan on how, in our opinion, to force Russia to peace, that is, how to end this war – I would like, no later than next year, 2025 – and guarantee that aggression will not be repeated. This plan is a bridge to holding a productive peace summit that will put an end to the war, Zelensky emphasized, adding that this can be done in the interaction of all partners.
Before traveling to Germany, Zelensky visited Great Britain, France and Italy, where he held talks with the leaders of these countries.
