The Allies are reopening and preparing their weapons for shipment to Ukraine. It will take one to three months to transfer it to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Two factors influence the speed and volume of arms supplies to Ukraine from allies: bureaucracy and the number of weapons in warehouses. This was stated by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak in an interview with Channel 24.
According to him, from the view of the bureaucracy, the process will be fast.
“The first part is bureaucracy. There you have to sign a certain number of documents, namely, how we will use it, how we will pick it up, where we will deliver it. This part is gone. There is no more bureaucracy. . for Ukraine. I mean in terms of supply of weapons from our partners, ” – explains Podolyak.
However, he drew attention to the second, more important aspect.
“There is another factor – the problem with the quantity of these weapons in the warehouses. It needs to be completed, because no one has collected as much as Russia. So, now they are finishing it, someone will reopen the warehouses, and quickly it will go to Ukraine – a month, two, three “, says Podolyak.
He added that once a certain amount of this or that weapon appears, it should be transferred to Ukraine, which will use it.
Recall, US President Joe Biden said that fifty countries have promised to provide Ukraine with hundreds of units of military equipment and hundreds of thousands of ammunition.
