There were more than 50 aircraft at the Khanskaya airfield during the Ukrainian drone attack.

    At the Russian Khanskaya airfield during the Ukrainian drone attack there were 57 combat and training aircraft and helicopters.

    Radio Liberty sources reported this. In particular, there were Su-34, Su-35 and Mi-8.

    How many of them are destroyed or damaged is being determined. According to the source, Russia uses this airfield for refueling and attacks on populated areas of Ukraine. The airfield is located 450 km from the front line, it was attacked by drones of the SBU, GUR and SSO, the source added.

    Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of the Khanskaya military airfield in Adygea in the Russian Federation. They write that Su-34 and Su-27 aircraft were based at the airfield, but more information about the consequences is being clarified

    In particular, an ammunition depot located on the territory of a military facility came under attack. Enemy air defense activity was observed in the target area, and a fire was recorded, they wrote there

    On the morning of October 10, the governor of the region, Kumpilov, confirmed the drone attack, but did not disclose details about the location of the attack.
