A residential building on Metropolitan Sheptytsky Street, which installed equipment for solar generation, will supply excess electricity to the country’s general energy grid.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Pyotr Panteleev.
The house participated in municipal energy efficiency programs, in particular the 70/30% program and the partial cost recovery program for independent energy sources.
Since October 1, the building has been acting as an “active consumer,” having entered into an agreement with the electricity supplier and selling electricity at “Day Ahead Market” prices. According to the head of the condominium association, the association plans to supply the network with about 70-80 kWh per day in the summer, and 40-45 kWh in the autumn-spring period.
