North Korea may send its military to Ukraine in support of the Russian Federation.
This development of events is quite realistic, because the Russian Federation and the DPRK previously signed a mutual agreement similar to a military alliance. South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun said this while addressing legislators at parliamentary hearings, The Korea Times reports.
Since Russia and North Korea have signed a mutual treaty similar to a military alliance, the possibility of such a deployment is very likely, he noted.
Kim Yong Hyun also added that the recent report about the death of North Korean soldiers in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine is also probably “true.”
Meanwhile, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrei Kovalenko, added that the DPRK has already sent a limited number of its military to Ukraine. These are mainly engineers looking after the weapons handed over to the occupiers. Some of them have already died.
Let us remind you that on October 3, the Kyiv Post, citing sources in the special services, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike near temporarily occupied Donetsk. As a result of this attack, more than 20 Russian military personnel were killed, including six military officers from the DPRK. Three more foreign soldiers were wounded.
